These are the services and tools I personally use to build and manage my internet businesses.
Hostgator – My “go-to” for web hosting. Reasonable prices, flexible choice of hosting packages, and amazing customer service. Can’t go wrong with these folks.
GetResponse – Consistently my favorite e-mail service provider. Remember, your list is your business – choose your autoresponder with this in mind.
Click Funnels – The most amazing, all-in-one online tool for creating anything from opt-in forms to complete sales funnels to membership sites. There is not much you can’t do with Click Funnels. For as feature rich as it is, it’s quite easy to learn and get your stuff up in a matter of minutes. Everything is drag and drop and fill-in-the-blanks. You can even integrate payment processing right on the page. They offer a two week free trial, so this is definitely worth checking out.
LeadPages – If you don’t need all the bells and whistles of a full blown funnel/site builder, but you need high quality landing pages with the ability to automatically send out your ethical bribes this is the perfect tool. LeadPages is absolutely rock-solid and top-notch. More affordable than Click Funnels and less of a learning curve.
SECockpit – The best keyword research tool I’ve ever used. So glad I stopped being cheap and started using this. Hands-down the best way to find those long-tail keywords that will drive leads to your content month after month.
ScreenFlow – Ever wonder how people make those cool screen recordings in their videos? Really easy to do actually. This is my preferred tool for the Mac. It’s very easy to learn and it’s very flexible. If I ever use a PC again I would probably go for Camtasia.
PrettyLinkPro – This is an awesome little WordPress plugin that converts your affiliate links (or any link for that matter) to one including your own domain. It personalizes it more to your brand and makes it easier to share or remember. For example, http://bd8111q95gpd-s7wbcowum4jfu.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=BRFSFB becomes i-shrugged.com/aquaponics.
Wealth In Health – My favorite network marketing opportunity ever! Great way to eat better, lose weight and get fit while building a residual income for life. Low startup cost, tons of training and support, and tools customized for you to automate your business.
Products, publications, and websites I’ve found useful in my journey towards self-reliance.
The Survival Podcast – Probably the one thing that has influenced me most when it comes to modern survival. Hosted by Jack Spirko, this free podcast is about an hour long per episode, Monday through Friday, and has run for 8 years now. Topics range the gamut from prepping basics to permaculture to cooking, philosophy, and beyond. A must-listen.
Backyard Liberty – A really cool little aquaponics resource I came across. Teaches you how to inexpensively build a system to farm your own fish and use their waste to grow your own vegetables. Definitely worth a look.
Survival Blog – From James Wesley Rawles, this is one of the longest running blogs for “Prepared Individuals Living in Uncertain Times.” This is a huge resource with tons of info on everything in the field.
SHTF Plan – A good all-around resource for keeping up with the latest news regarding scenarios when the excrement intersects with the oscillating wind generation device.
Smart thinkers from the Austrian school and sources for precious metals.
Hidden Secrets of Money – Mike Maloney’s incredible series on the history of money and modern financial systems. This is one of the best educational collections I’ve ever seen. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Please, watch this until you can teach it to others.
Shadow Government Statistics – Economist John Williams does a terrific job of cutting through the numbers the government gives us and getting to the truth that the authorities don’t want us to know about. This is where you can find the reality behind inflation, unemployment, GDP, and the like.
OWNx – Formerly SilverSaver. Works exactly the same since the name change. This is what I substituted my savings account at the bank for. I set up automatic weekly deposits which credits my account with physical gold and silver at the spot price as of the day of my deposit. I take physical delivery every 20-40 troy ounces.
Zero Hedge – “On a long enough timeline the survival rate for everyone drops to zero,” hence this news site holds itself to be a hedge against that certainty. Serves up unique news and commentary with an intriguing twist.
SGT Report – One of my favorite alternative media sources for economic/crisis news and really great interviews.
Trader’s Choice – Gregory Mannarino’s website dedicated to financial education and options trading. Every trading he actually posts his own trades and results. Mannarino also has a popular YouTube channel with financial commentary several times a week in which he warns of the perils of our manipulated markets (like it or not).
Alternative media to keep informed without the mainstream bias and stimulate thinking for yourself.
Free Domain Radio – Hosted by philosopher, Stephan Molyneux.
USA Watchdog – Daily news videos and interviews from Greg Hunter. I never miss an episode.
The Daily Sheeple – Fellow liberty lovers who are working hard to wake up the masses.
